I was going to be sharing my December favorites with you all this month, however, I wasn’t really loving anything new. Instead, I am going to be sharing with you my absolute favorite pregnancy products. These products are items that I have used just about every day and highly recommend. While pregnancy is truly a blessing, it can sometimes be a bit uncomfortable. With that being said, I have had a relatively easy pregnancy symptom wise. None the less, I am so grateful for the following products as they have helped keep me comfortable and feeling like a sane (most of the time) human being.
Favorite Pregnancy Beauty Products:
Belli Beauty Anti-Blemish Facial Wash: When I knew we wanted to become pregnant, my face wash was one of the first products I switched out. I had a feeling my skin might break out during pregnancy, so I wanted something that would help combat that. What I love about this face wash, is that while it does have anti-blemish properties, it avoids using common acne fighting ingredients that are to be avoided in pregnancy.
Belli Beauty Healthy Glow Facial Hydrator: Along with the face wash, I knew I needed to stop using the majority of my face creams and find something safer. I love this face serum and use it morning and night. It is so light, but leaves my face feeling moisturized. It also avoids using any harmful ingredients that should be avoided in pregnancy.
Palmer’s Coco Butter Formula Lotion for Stretch Marks & Tummy Butter: I have raved about this lotion and tummy butter once before, found here. However, it is worth mentioning again! I love the smell of the lotion and have noticed a reduction of the appearance of some stretch marks! Also, with the addition to the tummy butter, it is really helping my stomach stay clear of noticeable stretch marks.
Favorite Lifestyle Pregnancy Items:
Leachco ‘Back ‘N Belly Chic’ Contoured Pregnancy Support Pillow: I invested in one of these pillows early on in my pregnancy and am so glad I did. I’ve always been a back sleeper, so being wedged in-between the two pillows has really helped me stay comfortably on my side. Also, this pillow has majorly helped reduce pressure on my arms and eliminates that “dead arm” feeling. I absolutely love this pillow and my husband often jokes that he is going to steal it because he finds it comfortable as well!
Favorite Pregnancy Books:
What To Expect When You’re Expecting by Heidi Murkoff and Sharon Mazel: I’ve talked about all of these books here, but wanted to round up my absolute favorites in this post too. Along with the app, this has been my go to book for anything pregnancy related. It is so informative, yet gives the information in a way that is not scary.
What To Expect The First Year by Heidi Murkoff and Sharon Mazel: I’ve read the first few chapters of this book, which focuses on life with a newborn. I can tell that this book is going to be my new go to once the little guy is here.
Praying Through Your Pregnancy by Jennifer Polimino and Carolyn Warren: I am so happy my mom gifted me this book. It has been so much fun each week going through the journal prompts and prayers. I love how the authors break down the prayers to focus not only on physical health but also mental, emotional, and spiritual. I think this book would make such a sweet gift to give to your child when he or she is older.
Favorite Pregnancy Fashion:
Asos Maternity: Asos Maternity has been one of my go to and absolute favorite places to shop for maternity clothes. They are not only stylish, but super comfortable and affordable. Some of my favorite items are these skinny jeans. Also, they offer great dresses for formal occasions. I own and love this dress, perfect for a wedding. I also own and love this gown, which is great for a more formal event.
Pink Blush Maternity: I really love Pink Blush Maternity, as well. I love their basic tops and their jeans. Another item that I have bought multiples of are their workout leggings. They are so comfortable, and fit true to size.
Motherhood Maternity: I feel like this one is a classic. However, they offer so many cute outfits. I love this hoodie and this plaid dress (wore to my gender reveal party). I also own this coat and highly recommend it to any mom who is pregnant in the winter!
Hopefully this list helps any new soon to be moms looking for some new products! I found it especially challenging trying to find good face and body products. Enjoy the day!
