This weekend, I had a lot planned out. Alex and I were prepared for a full weekend, however, a few things did not go as planned. Even though we were not able to accomplish everything we wanted to do this weekend, it still turned out to be a great one. When plans were cancelled on Saturday, we made the decision to roll with it and just go with the flow. We ended up visiting my parents for a few hours and ate dinner with them. I always look forward to seeing them, so it was nice to just spend some quality time with them.
Sunday, I went on my last “big” (not big at all) trip away from home before the baby comes. Alex and I made some progress on our Christmas shopping. I love going to the mall during the holidays because it is so festive and pretty. I also love hearing the Christmas music playing while I shop. Also, I finally found a Christmas Eve dress for myself. #thankgoodness
Finally, Alex and I had some time to relax this weekend, and we definitely did not brush that off. We watched a movie and finished season 5 of Scrubs. Alex and I like to pick a TV show to watch together that has all of the seasons out. We have finished quite a few, but are always open to new suggestions! Also, I took a few naps, which isn’t exciting, but much needed. I’m starting to feel a bit tired again. I am 31 weeks today, so I am trying to get that sleep whenever I can! Does anyone have advice for a better nights sleep at this stage? Any hints would be much appreciated.
I hope you all have a wonderful week ahead! Don’t forget, today is the last day for Macy’s Friends and Family Sale. You can find my sale picks here. Also, a few other items I love are these boots, these heels and these, and this food processor. I only have a few more people to shop for, so if you’re like me, don’t forget, I have created some gift guides. I will be using the gift guide for her, him, and kids for some inspiration this week. Good luck with the final stages of getting ready for the holidays! I am going to start wrapping some of my gifts this week. Wish me luck, since I am definitely not an expert gift wrapper! Enjoy the day!
